Tree School is here again...The catalogs are out for tree school today. Registration opens January 28th at 10 a.m. (This is an program and counts as continuing education). Classes begin at 0815 and end at 1715.  (Clackamas Community College Campus will be open at 0715). There are youth programs for children ages 6- 20. Cost is $70 for out-of-county adult (21 and older) registrations. $25 for children. Children 6-13 have an all day program separate from the other classes and an additional $10 for material costs. Ages 14-20 have a special youth academy in the morning and can attend adult classes in the afternoon. Anyone under 18 attending adult classes must have adult supervision present with them.

1A/B Youth Fire Academy (ages 14-20) 8:15am-Noon
INCLUDES OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: PLEASE DRESS FOR THE WEATHER.Learn your way around a fire engine, predict how fire moves across a landscape, race to set up fire shelters, and explore today’s hot career possibilities in firefighting and forestry! Young men and women ages 14 to 20 are invited to participate in our new Tree School Youth Fire Academy hosted bythe Clackamas Community College Fire Science program. In this engaginghalf-day opportunity, participants will learn from knowledgeable  instructors in the classroom and gain hands-on experience covering a range of topics including the importance and hazards of fire, fire safety precautions, names and functions of common fire equipment, and more.Registration fee includes lunch and admission to general Tree School classes (minors with an adult) in the afternoon.Instructors: Jeff Ennenga, Lead Faculty,Wildland Fire, Forestry, GIS, & Wilderness Survival, Clackamas Community College, Oregon City, OR;Tracy Brostrom,Wildland Fire Supervisor, ODF,Molalla, OR; Daniel Leavell, Forestry and Natural Resources Extension Agent, Oregon State University, Klamath Falls, OR.
 TREE SCHOOL 2019 EVENT SCHEDULEWelcome! Tree School opens at 7:15am in the lobby of Randall Hall.Come here first to pick up your class packet that includes your schedule and classroomassignments.* Join us for coffee, refreshments, and snacks before you head to class.There will also be ice water available.The reception area is open all day to accommodate those arriving later in the day for classes.Class Block A: Classes begin at 8:15am. Go to assigned classrooms.
Exhibit Area
: Open from 9:30am to 4:00pm in Randall Hall gymnasium.
Morning Break
: Located in the Exhibit Area from 9:45-10:30am. Enjoy beverages and snacks while visiting our exhibitors.
Class Block B:
 Classes begin at 10:30am. Go to assigned classrooms.
 Lunch is included in your registration fee and will be available inthe lobby of Randall Hall at noon. Seating is available in the Exhibit Areaor outdoors,weather permitting. The Exhibit Area is open throughout thelunch break. Menu: BBQ chicken, pulled pork, broccoli salad, baked beans,cornbread, and homemade mac & cheese. Vegetarian, gluten & dairy freeoptions available. Lunch catered by: Class Block C
Class Block C: begin at 1:30pm. Go to assigned classrooms.
Afternoon Break: Located in the Exhibit Area from 3:00-3:45pm. Enjoy beverages and cookies while visiting our exhibitors.
Class Block D: Classes begin at 3:45pm. Go to assigned classrooms.
